A special vehicle, designed on the basis of commercial vehicles, is intended for the prompt delivery of rescuers and special equipment to the place of emergencies and for conducting radiation and chemical reconnaissance, as well as determining the levels of contamination (pollution) by radiation and chemical substances.

The laboratory is equipped with modern instruments for operational analysis of the situation, radiation and chemical reconnaissance, means for sampling and identification of unknown substances. It is also equipped with personal protective equipment for the crew members.

Functionality:

• Conducting radiation and chemical reconnaissance in areas (zones) of emergency situations;
• Determination and designation of the boundaries of zones contaminated with toxic and radiation substances;
• Monitoring the state of the environment with the help of the electronic meteorological station;
• Notification of the population, transmission of special light and sound signals, commands and messages;
• Collection of samples and their delivery to stationary laboratories;
• Elimination of leaks of hazardous chemicals from holes (cracks and breaches)of various shapes in tanks and pipelines.
