Special emergency rescue vehicle of light type SARM-L is a special vehicle, which is designed on the basis of passenger or cargo-passenger cars of increased cross-country ability or on a special all-terrain chassis and is designed to ensure the actions of rescuers on duty, carrying out priority rescue operations, including in hard-to-reach (swampy, flooded or snow-covered) places, measures to search for victims and provide them with first aid, communication and notification during emergency response.

SARV-L is designed to support the actions of 3-5 rescuers on duty, conduct emergency rescue operations, search for victims and their provision with first aid, communication and notification in the course of emergency relief operations as well as providing assistance to victims of road accidents.
During a rescue operation, rescue personnel have little time to save human life. The equipment composition in SARV-L will make it possible to save lives within the shortest timeframes.
Base vehicle
To produce a special lightweight accident rescue vehicle, basic vehicles of the following manufacturers can be used: Ford Ranger, Toyota Hilux, Mitsubishi L200.
Functionality:
- Notification of the population about the accident, transmission of special light and sound signals, voice commands and notifications within a radius of up to 500 m;
- Organization of radio communication;
- Evacuation of victims;
- Fencing of hazardous areas and areas of emergency rescue operations;
- Illuminating of rescue areas with hand-held rechargeable flashlights and headlights;
- Rescue of people blocked in a result of road accidents;
- Prompt and mobile delivery of a crew and special equipment to the places of priority rescue operations or traffic accidents by roads of all categories with the maximum speed.
