Special heavy rescue vehicle ВС САРМ-B TGS is an equipped special vehicle designed for prompt delivery of rescuers, special equipment to the place of natural and man-made emergencies, rescue and other emergency works, search for victims, rescue of people trapped in traffic accidents and providing them with first aid, elimination of local fires, radiation and chemical reconnaissance, communication and warning.

Functional capabilities of SARM-B:

• Prompt delivery by roads of all categories of rescuers and special equipment to the places of priority rescue operations and road accidents, natural and man-made emergencies, disasters and natural disasters;
• Warning of the population about the emergency, transmission of special light and sound signals, voice commands and messages within a radius of up to 500 m;
• Organization of radio communication in the VHF (UHF) range using a base radio station at a distance of at least 20 km and portable – at a distance of at least 3 km;
• Evacuation of victims from emergency areas, including from abysses and high-rise objects and from hard-to-reach areas;
• Rescue of people trapped in road accidents;
• Providing first aid to the victims;
• Cutting of metal structural elements;
• Lifting of reinforced concrete and metal structures, equipment, tanks and other cargoes;
• Deformation, displacement and destruction of power elements of structures, cutting of metal structures;
• Widening of narrow openings in rubble and structures;
• Fencing of dangerous areas and places of emergency rescue and other urgent works;
• Illumination of places of emergency rescue and other urgent works;
• Elimination of leaks of hazardous chemicals from holes of various shapes in tanks and pipelines, work in a gassed environment (chlorine, ammonia, etc.), dangerous to humans;
• Pumping of contaminated water;
• Carrying out emergency rescue operations on water bodies;
• Provision of autonomous energy supply.
