The Operational Pyrotechnic Vehicle of Light Type (OPV-L), built on the basis of Jeep Cherokee or similar high-mobility platforms, is designed for the rapid deployment of EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) teams and specialized equipment to sites where explosive ordnance (EO) is detected.

The OPV-L is a specially equipped light operational EOD vehicle, built on the basis of passenger and cargo off-road vehicles. It is designed to ensure prompt arrival of pyrotechnic and EOD teams to explosive ordnance detection sites and enables the safe transportation of specialized tools, equipment, and protective gear.

- Rapid deployment of EOD teams, tools, and specialized equipment to explosive ordnance detection sites via roads of any category
- Establishing safety perimeters and fencing hazardous areas during EOD operations
- Public warning of explosive ordnance detection and neutralization by transmitting light and sound signals, alerts, and commands within a radius of up to 500 meters
- Cutting steel sheets, strips, and other metal structures using hydraulic and power tools
- Reliable radio communications in VHF and HF ranges:
- — Base radio station: operational range up to 20 km
- — Portable radios: operational range up to 3 km
- Detection of explosive ordnance buried at depths of up to 6 meters
