The Interregional Rapid Response Center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine constantly uses Validus Special Auto pyrotechnic vehicles for efficient clearance of Ukrainian territories.

According to the unit, during the past week, 90 explosive items were discovered and destroyed in Sumy region.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 9,684 explosive ordnances have been removed in Sumy region, including 28 aerial bombs. A total of 5,214 hectares of land have been surveyed.

In the photo, we see the Heavy Pyrotechnic Vehicle (PM-V) actively involved in eliminating dangerous items. This vehicle is capable of handling the most complex tasks while ensuring the safety of the rescuers:

• Thanks to the special hydraulic manipulator, it can lift heavy structures up to 6,000 kg,
• It can transport more than 1 tonne of explosive ordnance,
• It has an armored cab and body with 4th and 6th protection levels, respectively,
• It is equipped with a special roof that directs the explosive force upwards in the event of detonation,
• It is equipped with a wide range of tools, as well as personal body armor, respiratory and skin protection, and first aid supplies.
