They face extreme danger to ensure every meter of Ukrainian land is cleared of Russian ordnance!

Recently, in the city of Selydove, rescuers from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine successfully removed and destroyed a one-and-a-half-ton FAB-1500 bomb with an UPMK guidance module.

The bomb fell in an open area within a private residential sector and, fortunately, did not detonate. If it had exploded, its fragments could have impacted everything within a 500-meter radius, causing severe destruction.

To ensure the safety of the local population during the operation, the SES workers, together with National Police officers, first notified the residents.

Next, the dangerous munition was made safe for transportation. Then, using the manipulator of the Heavy Type Pyrotechnic Vehicle, it was removed from the fall site, carefully placed into the armored body of the vehicle, and transported to a designated destruction site.

Everything was carried out very smoothly, precisely, and thoughtfully. We thank the pyrotechnicians of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine for their heroism and bravery, which have saved lives and homes.
