Recently, a delegation of experts from the Ministry of the Interior of Finland visited the Mobile Rapid Response Rescue Center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. This was an important step in strengthening Ukrainian-Finnish cooperation!

The purpose of this visit was for foreign experts to communicate with Ukrainian rescuers, who face the realities of war every day, and to learn from our unique experience working in extremely challenging conditions.

Finnish colleagues had a great opportunity to get acquainted with the Center’s material and technical base, which is very powerful yet constantly being improved.

Rescuers demonstrated modern equipment and special vehicles produced by Validus Special Auto, which are used for eliminating the consequences of enemy attacks and evacuating the population from dangerous areas.

These include vehicles such as SARM-L, SARM-S, and SARM-V.

Special attention was given to the unique and only Special Radiation and Chemical Reconnaissance Vehicle (SMRHR-V) in Ukraine. This vehicle is capable of performing urgent tasks in case of radiation and chemical emergencies, and it measures the radiation background within a radius of over 50 km!

Such capabilities of Ukrainian special equipment and the impressive results of the rescuers’ work could not fail to impress foreign experts! We are confident that our Finnish friends were pleased with our hospitality and high level of professionalism!
