This week, large-scale international field exercises involving Ukrainian rescuers will begin in Poland! Their goal is extremely important — to practice the response to radiation, chemical, biological, and nuclear threats. Participants include rescue teams from Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, and Romania. The Ukrainian team includes 44 representatives of the State Emergency Service. Special equipment from Validus Special Auto, including CMPXP-B and SARMS-C vehicles, are also participating in the exercises.

CMPXP-B is a uniquely designed and manufactured heavy-type radiation and chemical reconnaissance vehicle by our company. It is equipped with the latest devices for rapid analysis of radiation and chemical reconnaissance within a radius of over 50 km. The quickly obtained results are displayed on a topographic map using geographic information systems. The vehicle can alert the population, transmit special light and sound signals, voice commands and messages within a 500 m radius, and also alert using CHT signal rockets.

The Special Medium-Type Emergency Rescue Vehicle SARMS-C is effective in difficult terrain under the most challenging weather conditions. One of its key capabilities, to be tested during the exercises in Poland, is the efficient conduct of radiation and chemical reconnaissance, as well as organizing communication and alerts during the elimination of disasters and natural calamities.
