The Ukrainian Donetsk region continuously suffers from shelling and destruction, putting its residents in constant danger.
But even in the most challenging situations, rescuers and specialized equipment from Validus Special Auto come to the rescue!
A few days ago, pyrotechnicians of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk region removed an FAB-500 bomb that had fallen into the attic of a residential building in the city of Kostiantynivka and, fortunately, did not explode.
Using special tools, the pyrotechnicians removed the dangerous munition and, as seen in the photo, placed it in the armored body of the Heavy Type Pyrotechnic Vehicle (PM-V) produced by our company.
The bomb was then transported and destroyed at a special detonation site. All of this was done promptly and safely. The key to the successful removal and destruction of such threatening munitions lies in the well-thought-out design of the PM-V vehicle.
The PM-V has a fully armored cab and body with 4th and 6th class protection, respectively. It also features a unique retractable roof that, in the event of an explosive detonation, directs the explosive force upwards. All of this minimizes risks and threats to the lives of both ordinary citizens who may be nearby and the rescuers working under extreme conditions.
