Andrii Nahornyi, CEO of Validus Special Auto, visited the National University of Civil Defence of Ukraine with a special mission: to hand over a modern HiSkills simulator for training on crane-manipulator units.
This is the first VR simulator of its kind in Ukraine, created with the support of Hiab. Its implementation will significantly strengthen the practical component of the educational process and enhance the level of professional training for future civil protection specialists.
During the visit, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Validus Special Auto and the university. The parties agreed to exchange experience and knowledge, as well as to implement modern technologies to increase the efficiency of rescue and security activities.
Andrii Nahornyi:
“Crane-manipulator units are used in both pyrotechnic and heavy-class emergency rescue vehicles of our production. Every day, this equipment helps eliminate the consequences of war.
The decision to provide the university with this simulator arose because, in critical situations, it is not always possible to react correctly to all circumstances. The simulator will allow cadets and SES (State Emergency Service) employees to safely practice skills and be as prepared as possible for work in real conditions.”
The transferred complex includes a control panel, VR goggles, and licensed software that models real-world work scenarios, simulates cargo operations, monitors the correctness of actions, and records safety violations. It features both training and examination modules.
The event also included a specialized training session for university staff on the effective use of the simulator.
The company continues to create life-saving equipment and support the development of Ukrainian education and professional training for the sake of national security.
